To become a member of AR you (the Company) must be actively engaged in one of the following sectors of the retail industry:
If the Company is new to AR you will be required to complete an online application and to obtain a Proposer ( a current AR Member) and a Seconder (must be a current AR Board Member – a list of whom may be found on the AR Website and application form).

Membership Databases (including address and email details) are sold at a cost of £450.00 plus VAT per annum, but are provided free yearly to those who have the Gold or Gold Plus Membership.
The annual individual membership subscription renewal is £85 plus VAT for existing members.
New member’s fee is £99 plus VAT (which includes the joining fee).
YAR Membership is £40 plus VAT to renew. New YAR Membership is £40 plus VAT – when applying you will be asked to provide the date (or anticipated date) of your RICS (or equivalent) qualification.
To qualify for YAR membership you will be studying Surveying (or related subject) or will be an RICS Qualified Surveyor (or related profession) for no more than 5 years.

The AR Subscription Year begins on 1st April and ends on 31st March. Members may join AR at any time during the subscription year and, the following must be noted:
Providing that the annual subscription renewal/new membership subscription payment has been made for the current subscription year, individual Members who leave one company and join another (AR Member) company may transfer their membership. Members wishing to transfer their membership to a company new to AR would be required to complete an online application form found on the AR Website. If the member is part of a Gold Membership package, the membership renewal rate becomes applicable.
Accessible Retail has been formed as a company limited by guarantee. The Directors are the current Board members. Each AR member will be one of the members or “guarantors” of the Company. As a member you will be potentially liable to make a maximum contribution of £1 (one pound) should the company become insolvent.
AR is not an accrediting body for CPD, however certificates of attendance at our events are available on request. It is the responsibility of the attendee to keep a record of activities which are appropriate for CPD. Members should consult the RICS Rules of Conduct concerning the apportionment of CPD hours.
