The Implementation of The Future Homes and Buildings Standards
‘The implementation of the Future Homes and Buildings Standards’ sets out new requirements on energy efficiency and heating for new homes and non-domestic buildings. Key issues on which responses are sought include: capital cost v lower bills; the impact of new insulation standards; the impact on lifts and escalators; the impact on viability; where standards could be relaxed, the ability to link onto heat networks; choices of transitional arrangements, and impact on existing planning permissions.
