Levelling up and Housing and Communities Statement.
Following the Autumn Statement the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities have issued a Business Rates Information Letter 05/2023 which sets out the measures contained in the statement and some consequential announcements which included:
- Specific measures around multipliers and liability
- The support to be provided for Retail, Hospitality and Leisure sectors
- Legislative Changes arising from the Non-Domestic Rating Act 2023
- Non-Domestic Rating (Small Business Rate Relief) Regulations 2023
- Non-Domestic Rating Act (Consequential and Other Amendments) Regulations 2023
- Non-Domestic Rating (Heat Networks Relief) (England) Regulations 2023
