Simon Watson James, cycled the Coast to Coast Challenge in aid of Malcolm Gunter Foundation

Simon Watson James, AR Board member, cycled the Coast to Coast Challenge in aid of the Malcolm Gunter Foundation, on Friday 17th May. It was long and hilly route, leaving from the quayside in Ilfracombe at 7.00am going via Bideford, Holsworthy and Launceston; I  arrived at Plymouth Hoe at about 4.10pm, 95.3 miles in total.

Malcolm was a founding Partner at Williams Gunter Hardwick and died of Motor Neuron Disease in May 2018, only 12 months after being diagnosed.

The Foundation was set up in Malcolm’s memory and raises money for MND for items such as Specialist Medical Care, Family Support, Supporting other MND sufferers and Grants for Research.
