DS Active
The AR Board are pleased to announce that we raised £500 for DS Active at the 2019 Accessible Retail Golf day!
Thank you to all those that attended the golf day to help raise money for such a great cause!
DSActive is a programme run by the Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA). They aim to provide as many opportunities as possible for people with Down’s syndrome to lead active and healthy lives.
Founded in 2006 they started offering a football session for people with Down’s syndrome with Fulham FC Foundation. Since then they have grown into a national programme offering many different sports. Along with the sporting events they offer expert training to coaches, Run festivals to celebrate the achievements of their athletes and support those with Down's syndrome to achieve coaching qualifications,
